A property’s use may have been acceptable to the municipality in the past, but it may no longer meet the current Land Use Bylaw requirements. If the building undergoes renovation, damage, or destruction, it may lose its non-conforming status. If the non-conforming use is no longer in effect, any future use must comply with the current requirements.
